For the first nights accommodation I decided to go for a motel with a private room so I can recover from the mammoth flight, and it was a nice little motel apart from the fact that despite paying for wireless internet I then only managed to get 10 mins before it all stopped. I tried and tried and tried but no joy! Not the best of starts to the NZ experience, no internet!! It is funny how times change though. I remember when having mobile coverage when away was a novelty, now if we can’t log on to the internet via wireless immediately we want to its a disaster!!
Ill try again tomorrow and then failing that I’ll find some nice guy to help!
This afternoon I headed off to Kelly Tarltons Antarctic Encounter and Underwater World which was interesting, although I think I was walking around in a bit of a daze to be honest after the journey.
